The Twitter phenomenon created by Dragons Den star Theo Paphitis and his weekly #SBS (Small Business Sunday) Award has sparked a whole new networking group amongst local South East winners.
On Friday 18th May, 14 winners of the now eagerly sought after award, gathered at the building of Bricks and Bread in Aldershot for their first regional meeting.

The event was organised in order to give winners from across the South East the chance to connect and get know more about each other’s businesses. It was a huge success with many ideas coming together of how they can move the forward with the group and help support each other.
It was also a great opportunity to share stories of the moment they found out that they had won and what it had meant to the winners and their businesses.
Some of winners who attended had won after the inaugural event which was held by Theo Paphitis on 30th March in Edgbaston, so it was also an ideal time for them to find out more about what happened on the day, and to find out more about the man himself from those that went.
There was also the opportunity for Amanda Pipe of Crèche On Location to show just how easy it is to mix childcare and business as she provided a mobile crèche for winners with young children, which was a great success.
Quarterly meetings are now being planned and a newsletter is being created to involve all the winners in the South East region which at the moment stands at a fantastic 92!
